# Installation

Here's how to install the plugin:

## Step 1 (Release Builds)

Download the plugin from the latest release version on [GitHub releases](https://github.com/Radialbog9/MinecraftManhunt/releases).

## Step 1 (Development Builds)

Alternatively, if you want to test the latest development version of the plugin (which may be unstable and buggy), go to the [GitHub Actions page](https://github.com/Radialbog9/MinecraftManhunt/actions/workflows/maven.yml). Click on the top (latest) build then scroll down to artifacts and download the `manhunt-jar`zip file.

## Step 2

Upload the plugin into the server `plugins/` folder.

## Step 3

Start the server and edit the `config.yml` file to your liking, then restart the server (or run `/manhunt reload`).

## Step 4

Get your friends, run the command `/manhunt settings` to walk through the game setup process, and play!
